Our Portola Hills home gets blasted by afternoon sun. Is that why the patio concrete is deteriorating?
Yes, the south- and west-facing exposure in Portola Hills is one of the most demanding conditions for exterior concrete in our service area. The heavy UV and heat cycling break down sealers faster and cause stamped concrete to flake and fade, so we use UV-resistant sealers and recommend a regular maintenance cycle for exposed surfaces.
